Collin, then attempted to Shoot and Win the prestigious $10K dollar educational
bond. He was well on his way to winning by hitting the layup, the free throw and
3-Point shot with ten seconds left on the clock. He threw up an attempt that barely
missed and was unable to rebound and get another shot off. All four shots had to
be completed in 24 seconds. He was our second competitor to give it a Run.
After missing, I told him just to see what happens, go ahead and take one more
shot and SWISH, he hit with no pressure. It was as memorable as they get and I
am sure tomorrow, he will have alot to talk about at school. Congratulations.
All Runner-Ups in the Outstanding Shooter Awards were awarded basketballs
donated by Bob Wards Sporting Goods.
